Shungite eggs

Shungite eggs

Eggs as a shape are very popular and meaningful. And with good reason! Isn't an egg a crucial part of our whole ecosystem? Many species come into this world through an egg. There are reptile eggs, bird eggs, monotreme eggs! Most arthropods such as insects, vertebrates (excluding mammals of course) and mollusks lay eggs! So, it is safe to say that without an egg we all wouldn't be here. Millions of lives are nurtured inside eggs until the creatures are strong enough to take on this world on their own. The fragile balance of our ecosystem depends largely on eggs: are they safe enough to bring up an organism capable of survival? Our shungite eggs do not carry a life inside, but a centuries long memories of a stone that has seen the youth of our planet. Our shungite eggs are carved from shungite that comes from the Zazhoginskaya mine in Karelia. It is black with a matte surface, sometimes with visible inclusions of other minerals (such as pyrite that is sometimes presented in the form of intertwined narrow veins and adds charm to the product).
