Did you know that most likely the first bracelets were worn mostly by warriors and were meant to protect them during the battle and identify their social status. Those bracelets were carved from stones or bones, had little design and were huge and massive.

Since then, things have changed drastically and there are much more tiny, elegant bracelets. But we don't think it's fair – large bracelets are perfectly stylish and need their place in a spotlight!

The shungite for our oval elastic bracelets comes from the Zazhoginskaya mine near the village of Shunga in mysterious and beautiful Karelia.
