Shungite Saccara pyramids 50-100mm
Saqqara (Saccara) is a village in Egypt, about 25 km south of Cairo. It houses the oldest necropolis of the capital of the Old Kingdom - Memphis. This is the place where the oldest surviving large stone building in the world (and the first known pyramid in ancient Egypt) – was discovered. The architect of the pyramid, Imhotep, at first has been intending to build an ordinary rectangular stone tomb for the Pharaoh but in the process of construction it has turned into the first step pyramid. The meaning of the steps was symbolic - the deceased pharaoh had to ascend to heaven along them. We carry pyramids in 3 different sizes: 50mm, 75mm and 100mm*. Unlike the original Djoser Pyramid in Memphis that has 6 tiers, our pyramids have 4 tiers. This intricate and historically significant shape will decorate any interior and will become an unusual souvenir. * - the size in millimeters is measured by the length of the side of the square base.
